[* red] Unscrew the four JIS #00 screws along the top of the back cover.
[* icon_note] The screws are held in place by locking washers, and will not come out of the back cover.
- | [* icon_caution] Apply constant, downward pressure to avoid stripping these screws. You can use a Phillips #00 screwdriver, but make sure the head is aligned correctly to avoid damaging the screw. |
+ | [* icon_caution] To avoid stripping these screws, make sure you are using a JIS #00 screwdriver and not a PHILLIPS #00. You ''can'' use a PHILLIPS #00 with a lot of downwards pressure but be warned this will deform the screw head and you risk stripping it. |
+ | [* black] Before editing this guide with misguiding information again, please try the following. Get a product with ++untouched fresh++ JIS #00 screws. Use a JIS #00 screwdriver and notice the very little downforce needed and the fact the screw is intact afterward. Now use a PHILLIPS #00 and see the difference. You don't use a flathead for a hex screw. |
