+ | [* black] Remember back to step one. If your neck had a bow in it, you'll want to decrease the bow in the neck by tightening the truss rod. You do this by turning your allen wrench clockwise. |
+ | [* black] Similarly, if your neck has a hump to it, or bends upward, you'll want to decrease that hump by loosening the truss rod. You do this by turning your allen wrench counterclockwise. |
+ | [* icon_caution] NOTE: DO NOT do this too quickly. This step is one of several that most likely won't be done on the first try. Make small adjustments, check the neck, and adjust again. A good rule of thumb is to turn your allen wrench A QUARTER OF A TURN AT A TIME. |
