How to clean the HP Photosmart Plus B210a Printhead (Gentle)
Introduction
If your HP B210a has a clogged printhead, this guide will '''potentially''' resolve the problem and get the printer working again. I do not gauranteeguarantee this will fix your printer, but if the printer is already doing this it's at least worth trying before you recycle the printer.printer or resort to more drastic measures. This guide is primarily made for the HP B210a first,B210a, but can also be used on similar HP 564 printers. You may haveNewer printers that use the HP 564 ink tanks will probably need to disassemble other models further,be partially disassembled but if you can figure out how to do it then you can probably apply the core cleaning teachnique to your particular printer and printhead mounting design. It also does not matter if the printer istechnique can be carried over. 4 or 5 color; the technique works on both variations of this printhead. The only thing that maycolor also does not carry ismatter. On models I have not personally tested, I cannot guarantee the initalization bypass I use in this guide. HP has likely learned from this and has changed how the settings are stored in some models rendering this approach useless. You may need to use a different method dependingwill work on theyour particular model of printerprinter. As long as you have.follow it word for word, you will probably be fine, however. I have validated this method on 4 models over time. The method used in this guide works on the following models: * Photosmart C6380 * Photosmart Premium C309g * Photosmart Plus B209a * Photosmart Plus B210a Now, a piece of information: '''This method WILL NOT FIX EVERY PRINTER WITH THIS PROBLEM. I consider it a last resort repair to the problem rather then the first thing to try. If you are having problems and the normal means do not work, '''Setting/crushing your expectations:''' Will this may fix the printer. It should notwork every time? No. Some printers cannot be used in lieu of the official HP methods lightly.''' [ … ] While I do not promise this method will fix your printer, this chance of it working is very good. The printer I used in this guide was sitting in a garage without ink for a whilesaved by gentle means and the printhead was pretty bad. It ended up fixing the problem and the printer now works. The printer used is an extreme example. Yours will likely notneed to be dealt with using more intensive methods. Try this bad,and see if you want, but the fact it fixed a bad one should give you hope. I got it with nearly every nozzle clogged. While it isn't 100% effective, it works very well at fixingwill have to come to terms that this may not work. On more troublesome clogs, the problem.issue may be terminal.
