THANK YOU! Saved me from spending another $10 on a mouse after 6 months. Those screws under the adhesives are pretty hidden…

Thanks! I was thinking to buy another but it is fixed! It works on the model VicTsing CA32-es2 too, that’s mine.

Excellent guide, thanks! I have a Victsing PC134A vertical mouse. The assembly is different, so I ended up removing about 12 screws, only to then realize that I could easily access the “rotary encoder” part with zero screw removal. :) For Victsing PC134A, just pop off the the left-right click cover, and tweeze as suggested in this guide. It worked!

That’s crazy! Why does squeezing the rotary encoder fix it? Thank you so much for the guide!

I have the same question, please someone

Awesome… managed to repair BOTH of my VicTsing MM057 wireless mice with that issue (less than 6 months old). Bought the second to replace one that had failed, thinking it was a matter of bad luck, and that erratic-scrolling issue appeared even earlier than in the first one. In less than half an hour I put both to work again… Really appreciate your help!

Regards from South America.

Thanks much. It worked.

Hello,

It worked, but after some time it broke again. Do anyone have a more permanent solution for it?

Regards,

Carlos

This fixed my issue. Thanks

This is very helpful. I appreciate it. One thing i ask is if you make a guide to fixing a Mouse scroll wheel on a VicTsing PC140A wireless mouse. That would be a great help.

I have a Victsing corded mouse, PC081A. I got no results from squeezing the encoder, but that led me to discover that the shaft of the wheel needs to apply axial pressure on the encoder (leftwards with the mouse in normal position). My mouse has two plastic “towers” molded in the plastic of the base, with a slot in each where the shaft rides. I cut a small wooden wedge from a coffee stirrer, about 3 x 8 mm, and inserted it between the right tower and the microswitch to its right, which is the wheel button switch, This pushed the right tower leftwards, and forced the shaft towards the encoder. That restored the scroll function.

Hello, thanks for the tutorial. My mouse is the same as this model.

From time to time it simply disconnects by itself and after a few seconds, it reconnects. I’ve changed batteries already.

This one problem is very annoying, but it works perfectly and I’d really like to keep using it - so I wish I could fix it to continue using it.

Do you guys know anything I could do to solve this?

Worked well fixing the d-09 mouse (of many names on amazon) aka hotweems and probably others.

The encoder is a very simple device where a tiny round metal plate contacts another piece of metal to detect the rotation. However, over time, the contact surface becomes dirty. By squeezing the device, the contact will be a little tighter, thus result in better conduction. But this won't be a permanent fix since the dirt and grease will get in-between eventually. An alternative fix can be simply spray some WD-40 or other electronic cleaner there.

A more permanent fix would be to disassemble it and thoroughly clean up the tiny metal plate inside. That will make it just like new one.
