Razer Blade Stealth 2016 Fan Replacement

Introdução

The purpose of computer fans is to cool down the device. As the computer is operating, the device produces heat. The fans will bring cooler air in to cool down the device. The fans are meant to cool the device down, if this part fails to do this, the computer could shutdown and need a reboot. If your fans in your Razer Blade Stealth 2016 isn't working properly, this guide will show you how to remove and replace the fans.

  1. Razer Blade Stealth 2016 Fan Replacement, Battery: passo 1, imagem 1 %32 Razer Blade Stealth 2016 Fan Replacement, Battery: passo 1, imagem 2 %32 Razer Blade Stealth 2016 Fan Replacement, Battery: passo 1, imagem 3 %32

    • Use a Torx (T5) screwdriver to remove the eight 3 mm screws on the back case.

    • Remove the rear cover by prying up lightly starting in one of the corners.

    • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the six screws securing the battery.

    • Unplug the battery connector from the motherboard.

    • Remove the battery from the device.

    • Remove the three 3.38 mm screws from the left fan (this fan should be black).

    • Carefully lift and remove the left fan.

    • Repeat steps five and six to remove the silver, right fan.
