  5. Solder the new jack in place, the jack i used had an extra pin but was not needed. i ended up bending it out of the way and it all still works.

  6. Once the jack or jacks have been replaced simply re-assemble by working backwards, remember that the dials each have a screw and a topper. when putting the toppers back on make sure the dials are turned to the minimum value and line them up to avoid confusion when being used.
