Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 Eye Relief Adjustment Screw Replacement

Introdução

For the most comfortable virtual reality experience, the Oculus Rift DK2 should be properly adjusted to the fit the user's preferences. This includes adjusting the distance from the user's eye to the headset lenses. This adjustment may be made using the lens depth adjustment screws located on the sides of the headband frame. These screws are part of the faceplate and cannot be replaced individually. Therefore, this guide will provide instructions regarding the replacement of the entire headband frame.

    • Remove front cover plate.

    • Unplug the USB and HDMI cables from the Oculus Rift DK2.

    • Remove the four 3/8" Phillips #0 screws from the inner portion of the headset.

    • With the screws removed, gently pull the headband frame apart from the headset.
