This guide is for replacing a key on the keypad. Super glue is required.

Push down on the chrome button at the bottom of the back of the phone. Slide the outer casing down to reveal the battery

Apply pressure to the bottom corners of the battery, and then push upwards to lever the battery out.

Remove the rubber screw covers using a plastic spudger.

Use a T-6 screw bit to remove the screws.

Unscrew the antenna.

Use a plastic opening tool to undo the latches at the indicated spots.

Dental tools may be used in place of a plastic opening tool, as they are difficult to use.

Remove the computer connection (copper flap) by first loosening it with a plastic opening tool.

Lift the connection up with your finger.

Use your finger to remove the pressure pad from the buttons on the side of the casing.

Remove the plastic flap from around the buttons by lifting it up and pulling it out.

Gently lift the logic board up.

Push both side keys in so they are not sticking out of the phone.

Remove the keypad.

Gently squeeze the bottle of super glue so that only a small amount (about 1/3 pinky width) is a applied to the back side of the key.

Carefully place key onto the key pad so that it will be properly oriented and in line with the other keys.
