Introdução

The motherboard is attached to everything in your device, so it is an intensive process to remove it.

  1. Remove all of the screws on the back panel with a Phillips #000 screwdriver. Turn over the device and remove the two screws on the outside of the hinges. Turn over the device and remove the two screws on the outside of the hinges.

  3. Locate the fan and associated parts. It will be in the bottom right of the computer pictured. It is black and has an extension heading off toward the left.

  4. Remove the screws that attach the fan to the casing by using a PH1 size screwdriver head. All fan screws are attached to the fan apparatus, so do not attempt to separate them after unscrewing them.

  6. Remove the black and white wires connecting the fan to the network adapter. Remove the black and white wires connecting the fan to the network adapter.

  9. Remove all of the ribbons that are attached to the motherboard. Several of them have a black tab at the connector; lift that before pulling out the ribbon.   10. Remove the 3 plugs in the top right corner of the motherboard with a pair of tweezers. When possible, pull on the black tabs attached the wires to prevent any damage to the plugs.   12. Unplug the final plug in the top left corner of the motherboard. Lift the motherboard straight up out of the casing.
