I think the newer JBL Flip 5 speakers have updated internals. I received a Flip 5 as a gift years ago and recently had to replace the battery using the tutorials on this website, and it went off without a hitch. I decided to buy another Flip 5 to use the party feature; I accidentally dropped it, and the buttons on the side stopped working. This is when I found out that the internals of my two JBL Flip 5 speakers looked different. This is only my second time trying to repair something on my own, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
