Introdução
This guide will assist in taking apart and cleaning specific areas of the Dell MO56UC mouse.
Over time, dust can build up inside of the device which could block the sensors and prevent the mouse from working properly. The dust can be removed by using a microfiber cloth or a damp towel.
Before disassembly, ensure power is removed from the device.

Unplug the USB cord to disconnect the mouse from the power

Use a Phillips 00 Screwdriver to unscrew one screw.

Take off the top of the mouse.

Use a microfiber cloth or a damp towel to remove any debris located inside of the highlighted areas.

Twist the ball counter-clockwise to remove it.
-
Clean the ball with a microfiber cloth.

Clean the vertical and horizontal ball sensors with a microfiber cloth.

Examine the wheel for debris. The wheel can get dirty frequently which affects performance and may cause issues.

Remove any debris found and clean the wheel with a microfiber cloth.

The wheel clicker sensor is located under the wheel.
-
Remove the wheel to expose the sensor.
-
Remove any debris and wipe down the sensor with a microfiber cloth.

Insert the USB Cable back into your computer to supply with power.

Test functions of the mouse to insure proper cleaning and reassembly.

Examine the cord for frays or any exposed wire that may cause a bad connection.
