    • Use a knife to uproot the old caulk that is sealed to the wall.

    • Do this by angling the tip of the blade into the pivot and scraping up the caulk that lies there.

    • Push the silver button and pull the spring back to fully open the chamber of the caulking gun.

    • Place the new bottle of caulk into the open chamber.

    • To apply the new caulk, press the trigger and drag the gun across the area being re-caulked.
