For more information on replacing the inspiratory valve, please refer to section 10 in the service manual.

  1. Hamilton G5 Inspiratory Valve Replacement, Rail: passo 1, imagem 1 %32

    • Remove 4 Hex Allen screws (A) from the Rail surrounding the Ventilation Unit.

  2. Hamilton G5 Inspiratory Valve Replacement: passo 2, imagem 1 %32

    • Remove the Rail (B).

  3. Hamilton G5 Inspiratory Valve Replacement: passo 3, imagem 1 %32

    • The Standoff Brackets (C) remain with the Main Cover.

    • Place aside in a safe location.

  5. Hamilton G5 Inspiratory Valve Replacement, Main Cover: passo 5, imagem 1 %32

    • Lift the Main Cover (A) from the Ventilation Unit using the Standoff Brackets (B) attached to the Main Cover.

  7. Hamilton G5 Inspiratory Valve Replacement, Safety Valve Block: passo 7, imagem 1 %32

    • Remove Safety Valve Block

    • 1. Disconnect the cable from the Ambient Valve Solenoid

    • 2. Disconnect the Shaped Hose (A)

    • 3. Remove the 2 Hex Allen Screws (B)

    • 4. Remove the Safety Valve Block

    • To remove Ambient Valve Solenoid: Unscrew the Ambient Valve Solenoid (C) form the Safety Valve Block

    • Removing the Inspiration Valve

    • 1. Disconnect the tubing and cables form the Inspiration Valve

    • 2. Disconnect the Shaped Hose (A)

    • 3. Remove 2 Hex Allen screws (B) M5x60

    • 4. Move the Inspiration Valve forward and then up

    • 5. Remove the Inspiration Valve

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
