Introdução

This plush toy dances and flaps it's ears to the witch doctor song. I replaced a gear to make it flap its ears again. I didn't think it could be fixed so I am writing this up.

Passo 1 Remove blind stitch to access mechanism.

The bottom plate is removable, but doesn't give you access to the mechanism.
Blind stitch looks different from other seams in fabric.

If you look closely at gear, you can see a small crack
I bought an assortment of plastic gears from Amazon because I wasn't sure of the size. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075QY...
I ending up using an 8 tooth, 2mm shaft, 0.5 modulus gear. That is, an 82A white plastic gear.
