    • Use the narrow plastic pry tool to carefully separate the black ribbon antenna from the grey plate.

    • Remove the 2mm screw with a T5 torx screwdriver head from the iFixit tool kit.

    • The connector is very small and easy to break so take caution when pulling it out. Wiggling the wires as you pull to the left helps.

I just went through this with my phone and got it all back together, but I just plugged it in to charge and the screen just shows a gray blob slowly getting darker until the LED charging light shuts off and the screen goes blank. I don’t know if maybe I missed connecting something or what. Any suggestions on what may be unplugged/damaged?

Same here, Anthony. Did you ever resolve grey blob problem?

funny I got the same problem, the charge light stays on and if you press vol dn and power button at same time it buzzes after 5 seconds
