The guide details how to replace the button board. The button board includes the cable, power button actuator, and and volume button actuators. This is important to adjust the volume in the HP stream 8.

  1. HP Stream 8 Button Board Replacement, Button Board: passo 1, imagem 1 %32

    • Use your nail to pry up the back cover of the device.

    • Fully remove the back cover.

    • Remove the 10 3mm screws using the Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Pry up the inside cover the same way as you did with the back cover and fully remove it.

    • Disconnect the button board from the motherboard and remove it.
