Dyson DC58 Battery Pack Replacement

  1. Dyson DC58 Battery Pack Replacement, Bin: passo 1, imagem 1 %32
    • Make sure your vacuum is unplugged.

    • Avoid pressing the red trigger on the vacuum handle; this will power on the vacuum.

  2. Dyson DC58 Battery Pack Replacement: passo 2, imagem 1 %32
    • Locate the red lever parallel to the red trigger and on the side of the clear bin.

  3. Dyson DC58 Battery Pack Replacement: passo 3, imagem 1 %32
    • Push the red lever downward to open the clear bin. You may need to do this over a trash bin if there is debris in the clear bin.

  4. Dyson DC58 Battery Pack Replacement: passo 4, imagem 1 %32 Dyson DC58 Battery Pack Replacement: passo 4, imagem 2 %32
    • Push the red lever downward again while pulling the clear bin away from the main body of the Dyson vacuum.

    • Locate the 10mm screw on the side of the battery pack closest to the purple cyclone of the vacuum

    • Use the 2.0 Phillips head screwdriver to remove the 10mm screw

    • Locate the 10mm screw on the back of the handle on the opposite side of the red trigger button

    • Use the 2.0 philips head screwdriver to remove the 10mm screw

    • Pull the base of the vacuum down, away from the main body

I paid just £30 for a black & decker dust buster 10yrs ago & you tell me you want £60 for a replacement battery pack after 3yrs. Dyson has to do better. Your records don’t show that you agreed to replace the pack while the product was under gaurantee so this battery isn’t even 2yrs old!

Yup we have three stain animals in our house two are just over one year old and the other is a little over two years. None of them hold a charge anymore

Had a dyson V8 Animal a little under two years and already needing a new battery.

Think I will go back to using a corded machine which lasts a lot longer and costs a lot less to buy. Sorry dyson but I’m not impressed.
