Introdução

USB Port can be damaged from force exertion on the pins which can prevent it to connect to an external device. This guide will show the steps to replace the USB port in the device.

  7. Pry the golden ribbon cable from the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

  8. Remove the 3mm Phillips #000 screw from the motherboard.

  9. Use a plastic opening tool to flip up the retaining flap on the  ribbon cable ZIF socket.

  14. Remove the 3mm Phillips #000 screw located at the top right of the USB port.

  15. Remove the USB port. Remove the USB port.
    • Remove the USB port.
