    • Grip the rubber ring with your fingers and pull up.

    • Rotate the Canary as you pull out one tab at a time.

  2. Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 2, imagem 1 %32
    • Use your Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the four 6mm screws.

  3. Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 3, imagem 1 %32 Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 3, imagem 2 %32 Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 3, imagem 3 %32
    • Use the flat end of the spudger to carefully pry off the bottom casing.

    • Alternate pushing up on the left and right sides until the clips holding the case in are visible.

    • Do not yank the bottom off or you may damage the ribbon cable or the ZIF connector.

    • Carefully remove the bottom casing by gripping it on both sides and pulling straight up.

  5. Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 5, imagem 1 %32 Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 5, imagem 2 %32
    • Use the pointed end of the spudger to flip up the small retaining flap on the ZIF (zero insertion force) connector.

    • Pull the ribbon cable out towards the device.

    • Use your Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the three 5mm screws.

  7. Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 7, imagem 1 %32 Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 7, imagem 2 %32
    • Place the flat end of the spudger underneath the Ethernet PCB board and slowly pry up until it's loose.

    • Carefully pull the Ethernet PCB board away from the board that sits underneath.

  9. Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement, Audio and USB PCB Board: passo 9, imagem 1 %32
    • Using your fingernails, wiggle the power connector back and forth until it becomes loose.

    • Pull the power connector straight out of the socket.

    • Pull only on the power connector and not the wires themselves to prevent damage.

  10. Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 10, imagem 1 %32 Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 10, imagem 2 %32 Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 10, imagem 3 %32
    • Use the spudger to pry up the retaining flap of the ZIF connector.

    • Disconnect the ribbon cable.

  11. Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 11, imagem 1 %32
    • Remove the two Phillips #0 5mm screws.

  12. Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 12, imagem 1 %32 Canary CAN100USBK Audio and USB PCB Board Replacement: passo 12, imagem 2 %32
    • Pull the board away from the bottom casing by lifting the end closest to the chimney up.

Conclusão

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Hello great tutorial I have a problem with the usb on mine.

Where did you buy the PCB from?

nice guide, need to buy the ep-cnc01bb-02 board which has the micro usb on it as mine is worn out... any ideas?
