Introdução

This guide will take you through the process of replacing the power cord on the Black and Decker BV2500 Type 4. Without a power cord that works, the device will not turn on.

  1. Locate and unscrew the six 20 mm Phillips #2 screws in the black plastic casing (clamshell) with a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

  4. Locate and unscrew the ten 20 mm Phillips #2 screws in the orange casing with a Phillips #2 screwdriver. Use your hands to lift off the side of the orange casing with the screws facing you.

  5. Locate the switch. Remove the 2 black and white wires with blue casings from the switch.

  6. Unscrew the two 20 mm Phillips #2 screws that are holding in the power cord (located at the bottom of the leaf hog) with a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

  7. Slide the power cord support off the power cord in the direction of the leads. Use your hands to pull the power cord out of the device with the lead end coming out last. Use your hands to pull the power cord out of the device with the lead end coming out last.
