This is a straight forward process. A Philips #0 screwdriver and a plastic opening tool are the only tools you will need. This guide is to show how to remove your keyboard in case of major keyboard errors (no keys working, track pad issues, etc.) and to expose the motherboard.

Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the seven 14 mm screws on the bottom of the laptop.

Then use the Phillips #0 to remove the three 4 mm screws on the bottom of the laptop.

Gently lift the keyboard to access the three ribbon cables connected to the motherboard

Using precision tweezers, flip up the white and black retaining flaps on the ZIF connectors that hold the two smaller ribbon cables in place.

Gently pull the ribbon cables from their sockets on the motherboard.

May I know how to plug in the keyboard ribbon cable (the big one)?
I've tried to push the white clamp before plugging the cable, but it is stuck (it cannot be completely plugged in), and it can be easily removed as if the cable is not locked.
