My tab didn't turn on (stuck in booting limbo), didn't want to wait for a month or so till the battery dropped to 0%, so I tried this method instead. Done everything correctly. I'm sure I didn't screw up. Tablet won't start again (not even charging). I'm not sure if is either the faulty battery or the chipset attached to it. Either way, is a crappy tablet, never happened to lose a device so easily after a DIY repair. This would never happened if only Asus did insert reset buttons on their devices (or a soft reset button sequence). Will never buy an Asus tablet again.

Hi, i changed the battery, but now I have kind of a situation with this. My brand new battery is losing energy pretty fast , until 2%. When this reach 2% I can use the tablet for more than 10h with the screen on, or more. But if I use it for 2 h , in 2% , an then I close the screen for 5 minutes, the tablet shut down , and I can't open it until I put back the charger. Even though I have plenty of juice in the battery. How do I fix this ? Is there a way to recalibrate the software? I already tried to connect and disconnect the battery and charger back to 100. It doesn't work. I reinstalled the latest version of software. Doesn't work. Can anyone help me ?

I have an Asus Transformer pad. I bought it brand new 2 years ago. I charged the battery andturned it on. It turned on one time. I tried to turn it on a second time and couldn't do it. I sent it back to Asus for repair. They claimed they repaired it. I got it back and tried turning it on after charging battery. Again..went on but wouldn't ever come on again. This unit was obviously never checked out for qualify control. I never used it. Not even once! What a total ripoff! I will Never buy Asus again.
