Introdução
This replacement guide should only be needed if you are entirely sure that the power cord of your Aroma ARC-914SBD rice cooker is severely damaged and needs replacement. The power cord component lies at the very bottom of the device. Because of this, most all of the other components would need to be removed before any replacement of the power cord can be done. One of the most important tools needed after surfacing the power cord is a pair of pliers.

I have ARC 5000SB - wanted to use this in India under 220V. Tried removing to see if I can attach voltage transformer in control circuit .. I am pretty sure no issue to heater. But couldn’t open fully … some wires are attached to lid and not possible to open upper plastic rim to access bottom circuit… any suggestions
Yeah, we had a lot of trouble opening it, we had to pry off the plastic from the metal to get access to those wires. It will break a few plastic tabs that hold it firmly in the metal ring. These really as we found serve no function other than preventing you from opening the cooker. It just is a hassle to get open so that you can work on these wires.
