Goal Zero Yeti 1500X - AC outlets not working
(2 beeps, white light, 0V output)
"The 120V AC outlets on my Goal Zero Yeti 1500X have stopped providing power. When I press the AC button, the LED turns solid white and the unit emits two loud beeps, but my digital multimeter confirms 0V at both outlets.
Troubleshooting already performed:
- Soft reset, Factory reset, and Deep Battery reset (RESET+INFO).
- Tested with all inputs/outputs disconnected (no ground loop or overload).
- USB and 12V DC ports are still working; unit still accepts a charge.
- No 'Exxx' error codes or temperature icons appear on the display.
Since the AC light turns white but no power is output, I suspect a blown internal inverter fuse or a failed MOSFET. Does anyone have a board diagram or know the specific locations of the internal AC fuses for the 1500X?"

Yes I have, it is no longer in warranty so they want to charge about $500 for a new battery when I have tested the battery myself and works otherwise just fine. The battery reading on my multimeter is 12.17V DC. I told them it is not the battery. They do not want to do anything for me. Do you have any suggestions? When searching through Google, the internet says the board is proprietary to the manufacturer and they do not release their wiring schematics to the public nor do they sell separate parts anywhere online.

When the AC port light is on and white, do you see any idle draw on the display? (something around ~8 Watts) Does your display occasionally blip out and/or correspond with a beep as well? Or does the beep only happen when you attempt to turn the AC port on?

Yes, when pressing the button I get the solid white light followed by 2 short beeps with screen displaying an output of 9 watts, but no error indicators to tell me there is a fault. Already been talking to BioLite who took over Goal Zero and have gone through all the rest procedures and a deep charge. Still nothing is getting to the outlets. Still trying to do some reverse tracing but right away they take me to the much smaller circuits on the reverse side of the board that has microcontrollers surface mount chips, mini resistors and mini capacitors that will take forever to desolder just to check for faults. Throwing new parts at it seems like just ma gamble. Thanks for your questions. Let me know what you think.

For sure! I work at Goal Zero so I have pretty good familiarity with the Yetis (Though I am commenting on this board as an individual with my personal account, not on behalf of GZ or BioLite). I assume that you've already checked this given that you've been tracing the inverter board; but just to make sure, did you check the flagpole connectors going from the outlets to the Inverter board?
