Hi @bobusoxen
Try a full power refresh and check if that resolves the problem.
Turn off the PC if it is on and disconnect the AC power from the PSU.
Open the case and locate and remove the coin cell battery from the motherboard.
When the battery is out, measure its voltage. If it is <2.6V DC or if the battery is >4-5 years old, replace it. The battery model number is stamped on the battery. If it is a CR2032 these are commonly available everywhere e.g. supermarkets.
Press and hold the PC Power On button for a full 30 seconds and then release it.
Reinsert the coin cell battery back into its holder on the motherboard, (+ve side up as marked on the battery).
Reassemble the PC, reconnect the AC power to the PSU, turn on the PC and check.
If it starts OK etc, there may be a message stating that the date and time are incorrect. This is normal as the BIOS has been reset back to factory default by the above procedure. Once the date and time have been corrected, the message won't appear the next to me that the PC is turned on.
Also any user definable BIOS settings that were changed by you to suit whatever system requirements you needed, these will have to be changed back again as well

@bobusoxen do you get anything showing on your screen or do you just get the amber power light and nothing else?

No. The monitor is blank even when connected and the inspiron is on.

UPDATE: My dad and I took a look, and we were thinking the motherboard is done. However, the fans are still running, and the lights are still working. Even after adding an SSD (There was no Hard Drive), the light still remained a steady amber

UPDATE: I decided to start testing the Power Supply Unit (It's the original PSU for the desktop) with a Multimeter and all wires came back working, but the PSU is only 300 watts max...
