Red light under Sony TV logo blinks 4 times
I completed a hard reset by unplugging the power cable for 60 secs and then holding down the volume down and the power button while plugging in the power cable. The light turned green and the TV successfully tuend on with no issues and a great picture. Turned the TV on and off after about an hour of use and then turned on with no issues, one power cycle. It sat overnight, approximately 14 hours plugged in with no operation. Turned on and the the TV has the 4 blinking lights again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@joecat that is interesting. The manual does not list a 4 blink code error at all. Commonly for Sony, the four blink code points to a backlight error. Since a reset seems to have fixed it the first time, try that again. If it works again then I am leaning toward a firmware issue.
