Why my battery is not charging

If your battery is not charging when you plug it in, first check the charger, cable, and power outlet for damage. Try using another compatible charger if possible. Restart your laptop and inspect the charging port for dust or loose connections. In Device Manager, uninstall the battery driver and restart to reinstall it automatically. Make sure your battery is not overheated, as charging may pause to protect it. Update your BIOS and power drivers if updates are available. If the battery health is poor or it’s very old, it may no longer hold a charge and need replacement.
