Our Icemaker is slow to make ice. We can hear when it drops, and it drops seldom. We often run out of ice and wind up having to buy a bag to add to the bin. Is there some sort of sensor that can be adjusted?

Check to make sure freezer temp is set properly - I use -5*F
Check filter is not clogged - Change every 6 months
Check water supply hose is not kinked - turn off water, disconnect from fridge, put end in bucket, turn on water. It should jet out of the hose unless it is damaged.
