The flash is working but not the thing that flips up of the flash
the place of the flash, it normally pops up. But I only hear a click and it does not pop up

This means your flash is stuck into place. Usually you will hear two or three clicking sounds and then see an error message on the screen. When activating the flash, try to lift it up. If you can, then the spring holding the flash in place is stuck. If you can't lift the flash, try to pry it open with a pry tool or another flat tool.
