The USB port on my LaCie Starck has snapped off is rattling around inside the enclosure. All I need to do is open the case and get the actual drive out and then I can get my data back. Has anyone else attempted this?

It was a month out of warranty, just my luck. But I worked it out, there's screws under the rubber feet so I now have the drive to put in a new enclosure.

same story here... removed the rubber feet, unscrewed the screws, and popped it into my StarTech SuperSpeed USB 3.0 docking station (do a search on Amazon).
