R. Hinge barrel won't slide out.

Trying to replace this hinge since the right (where the WiFi slider is) before having to pay someone or just buying a new unit all together. I'm at the step where you have to slide the barrel out (I've already taken out the mother board and stuff) and no matter how much force I use, and what angle I do, this barrel hinge does not want to budge. I've tried various tools and the smallest flatheads I had, and no luck. It's to the point that I damaged the spot where the slot is,. I've been at this for a while and I've looked at YouTube guides and some forums, but Im still stuck. I'm honestly just frustrated and I'm just about to buy a whole new 3DS XL.

Hi there!

This one is very difficult and need a lot of patience and time. Put some Isopropyl alcohol on it and see if the will ease things.

Otherwise you could also a repair shop to do it for you. I also have troubles with it sometimes, it's difficult...

so it did work for me, but i have to buy a new barrel hinge and LED Bit but that's not an issue. Now i can finally continue the repairing and transferring process. Thank you!
