MacOS factory reset. Boot loop/ failure to mount EMG after reinstallOS

I have wiped the disk. Repaired the disk. Nothing. I have tried everything. The mac worked literally prior to me wiping the disk and trying to reinstall the sierra OS. It was fine. Just I wanted to factory reset it and once I went through that process the installer log states.

" Couldnt mount base system dmg failed to mount outer dmg."
it also said " no app was found with bundle id com.apple.InstallAssistant.Sierra to upgrade to 12.6.03"

No naticve mechanism to verify installESD.dmg

Hold On!

This is a common issue as Apple uses signed OS installers which with older releases we often encounter the key has expired. You need to get a fresh OS installer file and copy it to a USB thumb drive which you need convert into a bootable installer.

As someone who used to work at an Apple Store, I would bring your device into the store if it is accessible. OS reinstalls were common at my job. The turnaround time is long, but even if they can't get it done the same day, they might be able to give you some advice that allows you to fix it yourself.

Edit - if you post some pictures of the screen and errors here, it might help determine your best course of action without an Apple Store excursion. If you do go to the store, I recommend going early and/or making an appointment.
