IF it is beyond repair then don't just throw it away, the parts especially a complete display will get half of the value of the unit if listed on the right channels. The SSD might be still usable swell and considering apple never sold them separately they hold their value very well. I have sold broken up units and had got more than what the entire working unit would have got! Even things down to the key caps and screw sets as the small parts are often hard to find unless you know where to look ;)

IF the juice fell on it when the OS was running then it is more than likely the board itself has shorted in one or more places which can be the end of the road, if it was shut down then there would be a slim chance to clean it up maybe bathing the whole board in 99% alcohol (Very long shot)....

If it was off, and you tried powering up which you have tried no doubt then it would surely create some short circuits and damaged parts, the longer it is left the worse as the sugars in the juice will eventually dry and corrode..... either way juice damage is very bad news.

The Wiki's MacBook Water Damage and Laptop is Liquid Damaged are going to be your best friend for this, but the gyst of is that you are going to have to open the laptop up and clean it.

If push comes to shove you should at the very least be able to rescue your data from the SSD.

Best of luck to you!
