No more feedback on the trackpad, replaced the trackpad but still not

My Macbook Pro 13" Late 2016 with touch bar Trackpad stopped having haptic feedback, so I changed the trackpad (but kept the cable), the trackpad touch works but still no haptics feedback.

I did read it was probably the cable, would it be possible ?
