Hello, I recently bought a iPod Video, and the screen turns white after no use. There was nothing wrong with it. It started when I installed rockbox, I even restored, opened, reseated, and cleaned the iPod, and it's parts. Can you guys help me fix it, it's a gift I got from my Dad.

Restore the ipod and use it through iTunes like it was made to do. Installing dodgy firmware can brick your device as you've found out.

Hi, i restored my iPod after installling, it still shoes a blank white screen, however the ability to play music is fine.
It's not bricked, per say, but iTunes and my File Explorer on Windows can read, add and reformat the iPod. I've opened it up before, and the screen was back to normal for a little, but after taking out the iPod from my pocket, the screen was back to the blank white screen. I've attempted to put it in diagnostics, disk mode, but I can't see what's happening.
So you've physically opened the ipod? If so you could of damaged the screen ribbon causing no image.
@strongbow No the screen cable shouldn't be damaged, I took care opening it.
@strongbow If the cable was damaged there would be no color, just clicking?
