Washer shuts off mid cycle
Hello, I have a whirlpool washer model wfw90hexR0 that will stop then shut off mid cycle. Right before shutting off it will have a message that says ‘The water level or temperature is too high to open the door, to cancel the cycle press power.’ It will only show this message for maybe 15 seconds then it will go to the pause screen for a few minutes before turning off.
If I catch it before the machine turns off I can hold the start button and the cycle will continue. If not, it will turn off and I will have to restart the cycle. Doesn’t happen all the time maybe 50% of the time it does this.
I have now replaced the temperature sensor and the drain pump, both purchased on Amazon, and cleaned out all water lines and drain pump filter neither of which were very dirty. It continues to do the same. When I enter diagnostic mode I get a F6 E2 error that wasn’t there before I replaced the drain pump. (UIO Heartbeat failure checked on CCU). I’m now at a loss on what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.
