Blades are running when I turn on the mower

I just replaced the belt on my cub cadet XT1 LT46”. I had troubles with the battery so I charged it. When I turn on the mower, the blades are automatically running without me engaging them. Any answers to my problem?

Wrong belt, belt routed incorrectly? If it has a clutch for the belt maybe full of dirt.
