Hi @swiny,
First of all, I would start by checking cables, charger, supply, etc. If you have a USB meter (this is one example that does both USB-A and USB-C) you can measure what sort of current is being drawn when connected. Since those MacBooks use USB-C it's very easy to use one of those meters.
What have you tried so far, that didn't work? The more information you provide, the better and easier we can help.

I haven’t charged it for months now due to lack of power adapter , just got one but the laptop is not charging or powering on it’s not receiving the charge
