Hello,
In the process of trying to fix my 7+, i broke the ribbon cable for the front facing camera display. i believe it also has the microphone and speaker attached. can i put an iphone 7 front display into my 7+? are these parts interchangeable?

On our listing for the iPhone 7 Screen, the 7 Plus is explicitly listed as not compatible.
We do carry replacement screens for the iPhone 7 Plus, though! (Don't forget to get the display adhesive if you chose to buy the part only, rather than the full kit.)

Yeah, iphone parts are very rarely interchangable, even with other iphones! There will always be either a piece that wont physically fit (like a connector) or even if it LOOK S like it fits, if the resolution of both cameras isnt exactly the same it wont work. The hardware still needs software to work, and the software is designed to work only with the hardware it came with.
you used to be able to 'Frankenstein ' some older phones but they were not too reliable and it almost never worked with anything made by Apple, they want you to send your device in so they can fix it & charge a bundle. Replacing camera is easy, but make sure you get one for the EXACT model of iphone you have.

No the cables are different sizes it wont sit correctly on the screen. The gold connectors where the speaker sits on wont sit correctly on the screen. Could it work possibly will it sit flush like it should no it wont.
