While pulling on the webcam cable, I accidentally tore it from its connector piece.
I am aware of this solution that requires the replacement of the cable. However, could I do the repair by reattaching the cable to the connector piece? I should also mention that the solution can require soldering.

@handlebars let's see the inside of the connector where the cable attaches to. May be tough to get a good picture....also, what does the cables end look like? I would give it some consideration to solder the wire directly to the connector on the board. Not the nicest fix but it could definitely be done. It all depends on what this all looks like and what your soldering skills are. Let us know what your hesitation is to replace it the proper way.

Thanks for the answer, @oldturkey03 ! I have already unsuccessfully tried to solder them, so the solder residue on the cable makes it hard to see it clearly.

Soldering would be more convenient than purchasing the webcam cable and then disassembling the whole thing.
@handlebars soldering it to the male connector seems to be a no go. I would suggest you carefully strip the cable and separate the wires accordingly. Then consider soldering those directly to the female connectors copper contacts that lead to the logic board, if you are sure that you do not want to "purchasing the webcam cable and then disassembling the whole thing." Sometimes we have to do the inconvenient things in order to get a good repair. Of course you could also get the webcam cable new, cut it and splice it together with the existing one. That way you only have to solder the cable which should be easier to manage and would be less likely to do any further damage.

Sorry I haven't found any means to salvage the connector or the connections to the connector. The only way is replacing the cable as I outlined in the previous answer you linked to.
