No display doesn’t appear in iTunes but hdd spins up

I have a iPod video here and the display doesn’t turn on and doesn’t appear in iTunes

How ever the hdd spins up and it charges

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

@hellomacos does your computer (not iTunes) recognize it when you place it in disk mode

It doesn’t appear when in disk mode
