i have an MSI computer, it has windows 7 home as operating system i cant remember my old password, and now i cant log in to my windows 7 any help will be appreciated.

You cannot reset it directly as a reset way function. However, you can
remove that password and type a new one instead, by following the steps
here -> Restart your PC, and hold the F8 keyboard button and as You
enter the Windows® Boot Menu you will see some different choices,
choose Safe Mode with Networking. Now Windows® will start in Safe Mode.
Select the default Administrator account from the login, the password
can be blank. If you are lucky and passed the login, then you’re able to

It doesn't work on Windows 7 computer , like logining into Windows computer with other user accounts , and you can edit or remove the login password for locked account , this is often done by users who are familiar with computers,I didn't do that before as i don't know much about computer ,

The default administrator account on Windows 7 is disabled. If you don't want to reinstall the OS (Windows 7), you can create a password reset disk to reset the forgotten password. (How-To)

To reset your Windows 7 password, you have many methods:
Tips one: Reset Windows 7 Password with Repair Disk
Just insert the repair disk to your computer and restart it. When the System Recovery Options dialog appears, select Startup Repair and follow the Repair Wizard. After successfully restoring, you may need to add back some programs and/or Windows Updates that may have been removed during the restore process, you may also need to reset any personal settings that may have been changed but none of your personal documents or files will be removed.
Tips two: Reset Windows 7 password with CMD
1. Logon you computer with another user account which has admin privileges.
2. Click Start, type in "CMD.EXE" in the search box, press Enter.
3. Cammand screen apears, type in "net user" "user name" " new password", press Enter. The user account password will be replace as the new one.
Tips three: Reset Windows 7 password with a Windows password recovery program.
This method requires you to load a Windows 7 password recovery program like Windows Password Recovery.
1. Install the program on another computer and create a password recovery disk with USB
2. Insert the disk to your laptop and set your laptop to boot from it.
3. All user accounts will be loaded, then you can reset any user password.

I havent read all the responses, but just google Hiren's 10.6. Burn the iso to a cd and boot from this. Choose password/recovery tools > look for active password changer > select Y to delete passwords associated with the user you have selected > enter > reboot PC

For Windows 7 computer ,i did this on my Windows 7 computer 3 years ago , installed the Offline NT Password & Registry Editor and crack my computer with its help ,but most of the time ,it doesn't work for my friend's computer ,

Offline NT Password & Registry Editor will wipe passwords and/or also activate the Administrator account. Text based so may take some time and effort to understand. You know read the screen.
