Can I use precut adhesive card to fix back the Macbook Book Pro LCD screen panel?

OK, so you are securing the cover glass to the frame. Then the card strips will do I would get at least three cards. Tesa 61395 Tape
Now lets think this though a bit…
I have two boards which need to be nailed together (2x4) One nail is not enough and eight will split the board to splinters! So we need to think out what is the least amount of nails needed to do the job as that’s all that should be used.
So don’t over do it! As you may need to go back in!
You only need two wider strips for the sides two short thiner pieces (med) on the top edge and longer thin pieces for the bottom. Use a razor to cut the card before you remove the needed length. Use a heat gun at a low setting to warm frame and glass (not the LCD panel its self) and then afterwards warm the edge and use a small J roller to help press the glass into the frame so the adhesive gets a good grab.

I have replaced the LCD. Now need to fix back the glass panel using adhesive tape. Can I use the precut adhesive card instead of purchase a roll of Tesa 61395 tape.
