Logic board cover needed?

Hello,

My iphone 4 backside was broken so i need to get a new one. I bought a ''transparant' one because it looks nice.

The logic board is covered by black tape or a cover.

It would look nicer if i remove that...

What will be the result for the Iphone if i do that?

Does it damage without the cover?
