My phone has recently been in an accident where it was put in a furnace which burns at around 1200 degrees celsius, for about 4 hours. Is there any way the phone could still be in tact? Would the NAND flash memory chip still be in tact or is everything gone?

The phone is dead when repairing it costs more than buying another one, in which case I believe the phone is dead 100 times over.
The data is dead when the cost of recovering it exceeds the data’s value, or when it is literally unrecoverable. In this case I believe it is literally unrecoverable, not even flight recorders are required to survive this long in fire, not to mention puny consumer devices.

In all likelihood, I suspect you have an iPhone ex. Some of the silicon and metallic components may have survived, but the battery, screen, and plastic components are almost certainly defunct. Depending on how valuable the data on the phone was you might be able to extract the SSD and memory and try to retrieve the data (or give it to a firm that does such things) though it may be a waste of time/money to try. If you don’t judge it worth the attempt your best option is probably to see if you can get credit for it put towards a new phone or break it down yourself to see what parts are salvageable.

Do you realize how hot 1200°C is?
Not many metals in a phone have a melting point above 1200°C
Also most IC packages are usually OK to about 250°C and after that there is degradation. Long way short of 1200°C

If it was genuinely that hot unless you need to recover the data (even then, the CPU needs to work for the encryption key), that phone is thoroughly unrepairable. Time for a new phone.
If you want another iPhone, look for either a Xs or a SE (2020) for 4G, but if you can swing the cost the 12 isn’t a bad device. With the 13 on the way, the 12 will become reasonably affordable soon due to market flooding.
