iPhone screen has horizontal artifacting, then won't turn on
After working through the steps to replace the battery in my iPhone SE, I powered it on and it had horizontal rainbow lines/artifacting running through the screen. I shut it down to reconnect the display, and now I can’t get any sign of life from the phone. I cleaned the display contacts with alcohol, but that didn’t fix it. Any tips?

When testing, did you reinstall the front panel assembly cable bracket(the one removed at step 18 in the iPhone SE Screen Replacement guide ?

@andrewsawesome I did once, is that bracket necessary to hold all the cables in place?
