@crimmy44 the very first thing you want to do is to stop trying to charge it etc. That can make a bad situation worse. The next thing I suggest you do is to take it apart. Use something like this video to do so. Take a careful and close look at all components and connectors. Truly assess for any damage. Look for major corrosion, evaluate the pins in the connectors etc,. Take a look at all connectors as well as cable ends. You will have to remove all the EMI shields. If you do not remove the shields, you are not cleaning the board. Once you got the gross contamination cleaned, use 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and clean your parts some more. For a proper cleaning, use this guide. It was written for an Apple iPhone 3G but it is still pertinent to your PCB as well. I can not stress the importance of a good cleaning enough, so do it over and over while replacing the alcohol after each cleaning. Do not use compressed air for the cleaning since that can drive liquid as well as corrosion particles into areas that will cause trouble later on. The importance here is the cleaning. It would of course be best to get it professionally cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner. Remove the battery and discard it properly then replace it. This is a must and not an option. It will fail if you do not take care of it now. After that, reassemble your speaker (with a new battery) and re-evaluate. For as long as you have not cleaned your board and replaced the battery, everything is just a guess. Keep in mind that water damage is the hardest to troubleshoot and to repair. It does not matter if is was exposed for 2 seconds or 2 hours, what matters is where the water (particulates) did the damage. If you still want to replace the PCB you will have to do an online search for either the board number itself or a complete speaker and harvest the board from that. Post some good pictures of your circuit board so we can try and help you with any obvious damage we can see. Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente

Eh a lot of these use 18650 based packs which tend to survive a *little* better in some cases. I'd probably test it and then look into the battery to see, especially water damage.

Always replacing the battery on water damaged devices will ensure that they do not become an issues later on and you can avoid tearing devices down again. This "18650 based packs which tend to survive a *little* better " sounds purely anecdotal and inappropriate risk taking.

@oldturkey03 I've taken the risk before, and if you check it over PROPERLY it's one you can be reasonably comfortable taking. I'm willing to take a chance, especially if it's not too far into the line of fire of the liquid damage and the health is otherwise excellent (think 60Wh pack with 95% health good, and it's not in distress). Yes, I am taking a chance but if looked over, might be worth gambling if you're dealing with harder to find/expensive batteries.

Do I lose at times where the pack goes to crap soon after? Yes, but because I didn't just randomly throw a pack with a problem into service without at least giving it a health check in something like UEFI ePSA/SupportAssist or HP UEFI diagnostics, it's not a blind gamble. If I see low health issues (Ex: pack from machine has 70-80% health, but I have a better pack I know is fine) in ePSA or a Warranty 3 code (HP speak for used up) for example, it's junk. Can't make such checks on something like this, so I see your point about it being more of a lottery.
