My top screen has strange patchy, lines all over

I have two DS Lites and one was not turning on properly. It would seemingly charge but when I tried to power it on, the light would flash green momentarily then flash off. So I took both apart and switched the bottom screens to see if the bottom screen was the problem. Luckily the bottom screen seemed to work fine but now the top screen of my previously fine DS is glitching out with weird hazy lines. I’ve tried my best to insert the ribbon cables as far as possible and I don’t see any damage to them.

Anyone know what the issue could be and how to solve it?
