What causes these static and moving horizontal lines on display?

I saw in last month these year som flickering after I open display or I typed. Then show up black line at bottom display. Then more and more, maybe because it was more warm outside.

Last week I have macbook in room, normal temperature, and came back after 30min and lines flickering like shadow on full display was added.

I connect it with HDMI and it is OK, screen mirroring is OK too but that is just software thing I think.

I remove battery, of course then I discovered that apple suppress cpu load, and heating is no longer problem. Fan works OK.

Display connector seems to be properly sealed.

Battery I buy if I know where the problem with the screen is.

Q what this can couse that issue ?
Q where can be problem ?
Q what else should i look at ?

Thx

Q pls what is that #tcon.board ?

Q can I replace only that #board - or I have to buy #whole.display ?

por

@bgbruno - It's part of the display assembly and not replaceable on its own.

@danj thx

display is still for big price for 7yr model

Q is there any way i can check before buying that replacing the display will solve this?

por

@bgbruno - Just plug in a external display via the HDMI or Thunderbolt ports, if you see the same issue on it then its deeper within the GPU.

Frankly, I've seen this too many times its always the display ;-{

por

@danj that I already tested - and it is OK

I believe you - you have probably a lot more experiences :-)

Q cannot be flex cable or another cable - or how it looks like if cable would damaged ?
