JBL 4 charges but won't turn on

I just replaced the battery in my JBL Flip 4. Lights come on and shows it charges. However, once charged and I unplugged it it won't turn on. I also notice when plugged in, it doesn't show up on my Bluetooth list. I adore this speaker and was hoping it was just a battery issue. Any help, please and thank you.
